#### Mission
Our mission is to provide a fun, social and supportive environment for women
cyclists of all ages and abilities. We aim to build a lifelong community of riders
founded on friendship and a mutual love of cycling. We exist to enable women
to achieve their cycling goals.
#### Objectives
- Connect and inspire all levels of female cyclists, from beginner to advanced
- More women cycling more often – increased membership and participation in UQCC events
- Creating opportunities to ride and race together – a pathway that keepswomen engaged

- Women’s kit – build identity and community
Design and order women’s kit
Register kit with CQ
Ensure ongoing access to kit - Regular women’s rides – building community and capability
Establish regular rides catering for beginners to advanced riders
Encourage members to organise rides via women’s forum - Skill development – building capability
Organise women’s skills development sessions
Schedule women’s only criterium race – preparing for CQ open races - Social Events – building community
Mardi Bartlett Classic – playing our part in the bigger picture
Complete preparation and promotional activities for 2015
Commence early planning including securing 2016 headline sponsor - Improving communication – building community
Distribute monthly email with official announcements and upcoming events
Prepare a Facebook group for members to meet, chat and organise rides
Women’s section on the UQCC website (what the club offers and licence info) - Social media platform – building identity community and membership
Create branding for ‘Ladies of UQCC’ including logo design
Establish an Instagram account - Other promotional activities – increasing membership
Ensuring a women’s presence at the UQ Open Day
Organise a come’n’try / information session (in conjunction with club criterium)
Build connections with other UQ clubs (i.e. UQ rowing and UQ triathlon club)
